New Website

We are delighted to present the new website for Rolfers in the UK and hope that it will provide an even more useful and easy to use resource for anyone wanting to find out more about Rolfing as a practice, Rolf training or where to get Rolfed! Rolfing UK is the only British website to list all certified Rolfers currently practicing in the UK and you can be assured that all our practitioners have successfully completed the full training at one of our accredited schools all of which are listed on the contacts page.

  Find a Rolfer more easily
We have redesigned the Find a Rolfer page so that those searching for a Rolfer can more easily find a practitioner in their area. Some Rolfers have also added a picture and short biography so that you can find out a little more about us before making contact.
  Blog
The brand new blog feature enables you to ask us questions, tell us about your experience of Rolfing and generally join in the growing debate about Structural Integration.
  Watch Rolfing, Read about Rolfing
Our news and media pages now feature articles and the latest Rolfing related video clips to keep you right up to date with all that’s happening in the world of Rolfing.

Rolf Training comes to the UK

From early 2011 those interested in training to become certified Rolfers will be able to do so at the new UK school. Currently opportunities to train are rare as it is only possible to learn Rolfing at the Rolf Institute in Boulder Colorado or at one of the very few Associate schools in Europe, Brazil, Australia or Japan. The new UK school which, is expected to be based in London will offer the modular format which enables greater flexibility for those who need to combine work or family commitments with study. Demand for authentic Rolf training has grown rapidly with recent world wide media interest in the method including a feature on the Oprah Winfrey show. This has been sparked by new scientific research into the properties of connective tissue culminating last year in the first ever fascia congress in which experts from science and medical and bodywork professions (including Rolfers) came together to pool their knowledge.
It is expected that places on the first UK training will fill very quickly and hopefully we will see our numbers (currently only 22 in the entire UK) growing more rapidly so that more people can enjoy the many benefits of being Rolfed.
